Get Ready, Get Set...Go! The Far and Away blog is up and running for another summer. Nico leaves tomorrow for Scotland. The plan is for him to travel back to Lochinver to get the boat ready. Then, his cousin Marta, who sailed across to Ireland with him, will join Nico to take the boat around Cape Wrath, up through the Orkneys, Fair Isle, and Shetland. From there, they will head across the North Sea to Norway. I'll join them there. Meanwhile, I'm going to spend some time with the newest sailor in the family (who wasn't thrilled with her first dip in the ocean). Stay tuned!
